Desafío is a reality show in which a number of participants should survive, live together, and compete in 4 different stages, for a big price in money. These contestants are grouped into three teams according to the theme chosen in each season. Social classes, generations, regions of the country and the degree of popularity are the elements used to give identity to these groups. Another one of the characteristics of the Challenge and which encloses the success of this format is that the conditions of life in this competition are not fair. While a group spends its day in a beach house with servants, exquisite delicacies (High Beach), the other group suffers the complete lack of accommodation and food (Low Beach). In this reality, as in real life, the teams would be able to exceed or fall on their comfort levels, depending on the performance in the territorial Challenges.

Additionally, for this version each region will be made up of 4 members (2 men and 2 women), instead of 6.

During the first day, 8 of them were eliminated, to make way for the formation of three new groups: Alpha, Beta and Gamma; each one made up, initially, of 6 men and 6 women. However, the number of challenges within the teams was reduced to only 8, so those eliminated by the captains' decision had to face an individual test that ended up defining the contestants who would be part of the resurgent Omega team.
Desafío 2023: The Box 3 — 2 episodes. The competition brought together 32 participants from various areas of the country. However, for the first time since 2015, these were not initially divided according to their region of origin. In an inaugural test, contestants will fight to form the Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Omega teams. Likewise, according to the order of arrival, they will receive money to start the season. Each of the groups will have their own house, which will be equipped with multiple benefits, such as beds, swimming pools, a complete food market, public services, among others. However, unlike the previous two versions, this time they will have to use part of the money earned to periodically pay a kind of "lease". Those who lose and do not have enough capital to cover the debt will be forced to head to Playa Baja, where they will not find any supplies to survive for the next few days.
