That flashy girl from Flushing with the heart of an angel (and the voice of a slighty more nasal angel). The comic misadventures of the sweet and sassy Fran Fine, her sophisticated employer, Broadway producer Mr. Sheffield, his boisterous brood and his wisecracking staff.
Season 1 (1993) — 22 episodes. Fran Fine is a street-smart, down-on-her-luck diva who finds herself hired for a job for which she never even applied! Now, she's the nanny for a rich, sophisticated family in Manhattan, and when this blue-collar girl from the block moves in with a blue blood, widowed Broadway producer and his three children, the comedy is red hot!
Season 2 (1994) — 26 episodes. In the second season, Nanny Fine continues her inimitable style of witty one-liners, physical comedy, and fashion flair. As the season unfolds, Fran is mistaken for a nurse, arrested for kidnapping a baby, and cast in a Broadway production. Sparks of affection continue to fly between Miss Fine and Mr. Sheffield, while the razor-sharp repartee of C.C. Babcock and Niles further fuels the hilarity.
Season 3 (1995) — 26 episodes. Fran Drescher returns for a star-studded third season. This year, the best-dressed nanny dates more men than she can handle, hosts a wild sweet sixteen party for Maggie, seeks treatment for her out-of-control shopping and finally gets Mr. Sheffield to profess his love for her when he thinks their plane will crash.
Season 4 (1996) — 26 episodes. The irrepressible Fran Drescher returns for the hilarious fourth season of The Nanny, a sitcom classic that dresses to impress. Nanny Fran Fine and the Sheffields are up to all-new shenanigans and misadventures in this fresh and funny fourth season.
Season 5 (1997) — 23 episodes. The fashionably funny Fran Drescher is back for more in the fifth season of The Nanny, the nineties sitcom with style and flair to spare. In Season Five, Fran Fine is fully ensconced as the comedic caregiver to the Sheffield children. But her "Will they or won't they?" romance with dreamy Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield just might lead to a big promotion—from babysitter to bride! Will the producer pop the question? Will the nanny tie the knot?
Season 6 (1998) — 21 episodes. The fashionably faultless Fran Drescher is back to bring the whole schmear to a close in the final season of The Nanny. Finally married to the dashing Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield, the former Miss Fine is a nanny no longer! But just as soon as Fran and Maxwell settle into marital bliss, they each announce a big production that will change the lives of the Sheffield family forever.
