A fast-paced reality show that follows several incredibly busy and ambitious Manhattan women. Watch as they balance envious social calendars, challenging careers, and motherhood, with the hustle and bustle of the big city all around.
Season 1 (2008) — 9 episodes. In the hyper-competitive world of Manhattan high society, supreme social connector Jill Zarin fiercely protects her inner circle while navigating the elite charity circuit alongside her closest confidante, witty culinary entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel. Operating on a completely different plane is Luann de Lesseps, whose rigid demands for etiquette as a European Countess clash with ambitious Brooklyn outliers Alex McCord and her husband Simon’s desperate attempts to climb the social ladder. Bustling through it all is filterless fashion buyer Ramona Singer, whose blunt critiques and erratic energy constantly disrupt the polite veneer of their gatherings and ignite intense tension with Alex.
Season 2 (2009) — 15 episodes. The elite circle rallies to plan a high-profile charity gala close to Jill Zarin's heart, using the monumental effort to welcome effortlessly chic former model Kelly Killoren Bensimon into the fold. However, Kelly's reluctance to officially attach her name to the event sparks a biting cold war with an intensely driven Bethenny Frankel, even as Luann de Lesseps attempts to mentor the bohemian newcomer in the rigid ways of Manhattan philanthropy. Meanwhile, Ramona Singer and Jill’s blunt disagreements over gala planning boil over into a bitter personal rivalry on the tennis court, just as a socially recalibrating Alex McCord tries to balance the demanding event with her career.
Season 3 (2010) — 18 episodes. A seismic shift rocks the group when Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel's legendary friendship shatters into a bitter feud, though Jill's attempt to ice out her former best friend backfires as Bethenny experiences a meteoric rise in both business and love. Glamorous newcomer Sonja Morgan injects a much-needed free-spirited levity into the fractured dynamic, but the group's underlying animosity reaches a terrifying boiling point during a trip to St. John where the psychological friction between Bethenny and an increasingly detached Kelly completely explodes. Back in the city, Luann de Lesseps faces the public unraveling of her marriage, Ramona Singer plans a lavish vow renewal to distance herself from the chaos, and a newly empowered Alex McCord steps firmly into the fray to deliver fiery ultimatums to Jill.
Season 4 (2011) — 18 episodes. In Manhattan, the only thing colder than the winter wind is the icy freeze-out between former friends, though Pinot Grigio-fueled duo Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan manage to keep things hot by immediately turning on old friend and tech-entrepreneur Cindy Barshop. While a newly empowered Alex McCord aggressively challenges Upper East Side snobbery, Countess Luann de Lesseps rides the high of a passionate European romance and a hit dance single. The simmering tension between the ladies' crumbling townhouses and high-society galas finally explodes amidst the camel rides and foreign fortune tellers of a disastrously chic group trip to Marrakech.
Season 5 (2012) — 21 episodes. As any true New Yorker knows, a shifting social circle requires fresh blood, and the arrival of downtown princess Carole Radziwill, shapewear mogul Heather Thomson, and phobia-ridden Aviva Drescher instantly shakes up the Upper East Side. While Luann de Lesseps gracefully dodges parenting rumors, a wildly defensive Ramona Singer clashes immediately with the boisterous new additions. The ultimate test of this fragile new sisterhood comes during a luxurious getaway to St. Barth's, where Ramona and Sonja’s uninhibited partying collides head-on with Aviva’s demands for basic respectability, creating an unbridgeable island divide.
Season 6 (2014) — 23 episodes. Season six sees the return of Aviva Drescher, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill, Ramona Singer, and Heather Thompson, who are joined by model and businesswoman Kristen Taekman as they navigate their hectic lifestyles of jam-packed social calendars, careers, relationships, children and the hustle and bustle of city living. Also returning in a recurring role this season is Countess LuAnn de Lesseps.
